Up-and-coming Welsh band Public Order have returned to deliver their highly-anticipated debut EP ‘HELLO’, out now on Ignition Records, including brand new track “Someday”. Listen to the EP here and watch the visualiser for “Someday” here.
“Someday” is an emotionally charged anthem, that builds from quiet introspection to a soaring, cathartic release – and captures the energy that even in moments of darkness, there is optimism.
Speaking about the new offering, Public Order say, "Someday" is all about hope. It’s a journey through longing and self-destruction, holding onto the belief that something better is waiting at the end. It asks the question - are you breaking, or becoming something more?”
Working alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Jim Abbiss, known for his work with Arctic Monkeys and Adele, Public Order’s debut EP is a fresh and experimental evolution of their sound. The EP features previously released singles, ”STRANGER” “HELLO” and “Joker” which gained support from the likes of Huw Stephens ("sounds massive") and BBC Intro ("Moreish...anthemic"), with the latter being added to Radio X’s X-Posure playlist.
"This EP is a raw and honest reflection of ourselves. It’s our story of love, loss, and the struggle to make sense of it all. Through Someday, Joker, HELLO, and STRANGER, we wanted to capture the highs and lows of youth—fleeting connections, reckless nights, and those quiet moments of realization in between. It’s not just about love; it’s about everything in between—losing yourself, finding yourself, and hoping that someday, everything will fall into place." – Public Order
Following the release of their ‘HELLO’ EP, Public Order will hit the road with a headline show at London’s Notting Hill Arts Club in May and performances at Independent Venue Week, Dot To Dot festival, and special show at Caldicot Castle with Razorlight later in the year. This follows a busy few months where Public Order have been touring relentlessly including a recent tour in February with Everyone You Know.
