Emerging as one of the more engaging folk acts of the moment, Bear’s Den have cemented themselves as one of the scene’s more adventurous outfits.
Racking up more than 500k in album sales, and 400 million streams online, the band’s legacy has been growing ever stronger since they first emerged in 2012.
Their breakthrough debut album ‘Islands’ in 2014 went onto earn silver status, before their highly-praised sophomore effort ‘Red Earth & Pouring Rain’ saw them climb to number six in the album charts in 2016. Since then, the group have produced a flurry of standalone singles and EPs, including their much-loved Christmas collections ‘Only Son Of The Falling Snow’ and ‘Christmas, Hopefully’, which were released to support NHS charities during the pandemic.
Following on from the release of their third album ‘So that you might hear me’ in 2019, the band conducted huge sell out tours of the UK, North America and arena shows in Europe, as well as a jam-packed summer festival season, an intimate ‘Highlands and Islands’ tour of the Scottish Highlands, and a run of shows supporting Neil Young in Germany bringing their total headline tour ticket sales tally to nearly quarter of a million worldwide in that year alone.
