After forming during an open mic session near their hometown of Bridlington in 2011, Jack Sedman and Harry Draper began Seafret with the intention of creating wistful folk music engaged for a wider audience.
After the pair moved to London to release their debut album ‘Tell Me It’s Real’ through Columbia Records in 2016. The duo found life in the capital too much of a distraction and have since returned to their hometown, where they recorded their EP ‘Monsters’. The video for their 2016 single ’Oceans’ was nominated for an MTV VMA and featured Game of Thrones actor Maisie Williams. They have so far clocked up over 150 million streams on Spotify and over 150 million views on YouTube, as well as toured with the likes of Hozier, James Bay, Kodaline and Jake Bugg, not to mention embarking on their own headline UK and European tours.
