Hailing from the musically diverse city of Birmingham, Editors first broke onto the scene with their platinum-selling debut album ‘The Back Room’ in 2005, a record that also earned them a Mercury Prize nomination.
Today the band have released six critically-acclaimed studio albums, all of which have reached the top 10 in the UK album charts (two heading straight to number 1), with their hits ‘Munich’ and ‘Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors’ also breaking into the top 10 singles charts. Their track ‘No Sound But The Wind’ was featured on the soundtrack for the major film The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and have also performed high- profile sets as Reading & Leeds, Glastonbury and Pinkpop festivals. 2018 saw the release of their sixth studio album Violence procuded by Leo Abrahams (Wild Beasts, Florence & The Machine, Frightened Rabbit) and Editors with additional production from Benjamin John Power (Blanck Mass, Fuck Buttons).
