
Taking influence from the likes of underground folk legend Malvina Reynolds, Manchester poet Toria Garbutt, and contemporary voices like contemporary female voices such as Kate Tempest, Nadine Shah and Courtney Barnett, frontwoman Louisa Roach has been a force to be reckoned with on the underground indie scene.
With two critically-praised studio albums under her belt, the Wirral-born artist has delivered a wealth of punchy and politically-charged singles such as ‘Poem’, ‘Pit Pony’, ‘Since You Were Not Mine’, ‘No Hole In My Head’ and ‘Resister’, which have drawn support from BBC 6Music, Uncut Magazine, The Independent, CLASH, Louder Than War, Gigwise and closer to home Bido Lito and Get Into This. Her band have made a regular impact on the touring schedule these last few years, headlining their own UK tours as well as supporting the likes of The Coral on theirs.
