Following on from the huge success of her recently unveiled single ‘Weave My Web’ last month, fast-rising R&B newcomer RAHH is now continuing the support for her forthcoming debut EP with the vibrant lead single ‘Run The Lights’.
While ‘Weave My Web’ perfectly cemented her raw and heartfelt R&B aesthetic, ‘Run The Lights’ sees her adopt a more adventurous and explorative realm within the genre. Opening up with bold and pulsing basslines that create an almost breathless feeling to the release, she rides this rich and soaring atmosphere to deliver a wonderfully powerful and distinct addition to her catalogue to date.
Speaking about the new release, she said, "Run The Lights is about going out for all the wrong reasons - to numb the pain, to distract yourself from your own thoughts, to get over someone. Whatever it is, we all do it. The title refers to not knowing when to stop. You're a danger and out of control but your foot is to the floor.
“It has been incredible to be able to bring this to life through Augmented Reality and animation as we've been able to explore breaking down the layers of bullshit we mask our true feelings with, in order to be free."
RAHH’s previous singles have been supported by BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing, as well as featured on The Line Of Best Fit, Complex, Clash Magazine, and countless others.
