New album ‘Most Of Us Are Strangers’ out spring 2020
Seafret release a brand new track ‘Love Won’t Let Me Leave’ on November 29th. The rousing single is taken from the east-Yorkshire duo’s highly anticipated second album ‘Most Of Us Are Strangers’ which will be released in spring 2020. Listen to ‘Love Won’t Let Me Leave’ HERE
Speaking about the track they say, “We wrote ‘Love Won’t Let Me Leave’ before we started the main writing and recording for the album. Some songs have been left behind but this one stuck with us and we feel it fits perfectly into the album. We’re now proud to share it with you all! Hope you enjoy, Jack & Harry.”
‘Love Won’t Let Me Leave’ follows the recent release of their incredibly powerful single ‘Fall’, produced by Ross Hamilton at Rocket Science Recording Studios, Glasgow. ‘Fall’ is accompanied by another moving video by director Stuart Alexander, who also directed the videos for their previous singles 'Monsters' and ‘Loving You’. Seafret’s emotive debut album ‘Tell Me It’s Real’, released in 2016 through Sweet Jane Recordings / Columbia Records spurred some huge singles including ’Oceans’ which was nominated for a VMA and featured Game of Thrones actor Maisie Williams, ‘Wildfire’ and ‘Atlantis’ to name a few.
They returned with their ‘Monsters EP’ last September. The four-track EP – which marked the beginning of their collaboration with Ross Hamilton on production/co-writing - featured lead single and EP title track ‘Monsters’, as well as ‘Can’t Look Away’, ‘Bad Blood’ and ‘Heartless’. ‘Fall’ follows on from Seafret’s most recent single release ‘Loving You’ which is accompanied by a very emotive video, directed by Stuart Alexander.
They’ve clocked up an impressive 300 million streams across Spotify and Apple and 170 million views on YouTube and have toured with the likes of Hozier, James Bay, Kodaline and Jake Bugg not to mention their own extensive headline tours in the UK, Europe, Russia and beyond.
