Balthazar share new track 'Wrong Vibration' ahead of forthcoming album

Ahead of their forthcoming album Fever on Friday, Belgian five-piece Balthazar have today shared new track Wrong Vibration. Listen here https://soundcloud.com/pias/balthazar-wrong-vibration1/s-yZ904
Headed by the writing axis of Maarten Devoldere and Jinte Deprez whilst also assuming joint vocal duties, Fever marks their return since 2015’s Thin Walls. Far from laying idle the pair have been busy on their own musical projects - working under his J. Bernardt nom de plume, Deprez unveiled his minimalistic, soul infused R’n’B album, Running Days whilst Devoldere’s Warhaus provided two albums of lush, moody art-jazz.
The pair’s musical excursions provided foundations for the group’s rejuvenation, the newly discovered freedom leading to an altogether more upbeat and refreshing output, already unveiled with the release of the album’s title track at the end of 2018.
Following the success of recent Hypem chart #1 I’m Never Gonna Let You Down Again, Wrong Vibration comes on all sumptuous harmonies against a nocturnal backdrop. Devoldere takes on lead vocal duties joined by Deprez on Harmonies providing further evidence of the wonderful pop side of Balthazar and reinforcing the band’s newfound enthusiasm.
