After originally establishing themselves as two founding members of UK alt-rock trio Band Of Skulls, best known for their breakthrough hit single ‘ I Know What I Am’ and five rampant studio albums under their belts, Russell Marsden and Emma Richardson have begun to rewrite their journey under their newer project Marsden & Richardson.
Opting for a more folk-focused direction this time around, the pair are looking to make a vast distinction between this and their formative outfit. Since the release of their stunning debut single ‘Outsider’ in early 2021, the duo have already begun to make serious waves in their new guise, regularly finding support and acclaim for their more laid-back approach.
While Band Of Skulls still remain in active duty, Marsden & Richardson has become an opportunity for the two to pursue a more wistful direction, spreading their creative wings as often as possible.
